How we built Shree Trishul's e-commerce in 12 days

Shree Trishul Products is a 25-year-old Rajasthani spice brand sold across hundreds of kirana stores. In May 2026 they came to MAKEiNDIA TECH with one ask: a real e-commerce store, live in two weeks.

The brief

Strong offline brand, zero online presence beyond a basic listing. Owner wanted heritage feel — not a flat 'startup' aesthetic — with full Razorpay checkout, GST invoices, and a mobile experience that worked over patchy 4G in tier-3 cities.

Design challenge — heritage feel + modern UX

We anchored the visual language in warm spice tones — turmeric, paprika, deep saffron — paired with a confident serif headline and clean sans-serif body. The hero used product macro photography we re-shot on day 2, not generic stock.

Product catalog — 50+ SKUs organised cleanly

We grouped 50+ SKUs into 6 collections (Whole Spices, Ground, Blends, Pickles, Snacks, Gift Boxes) and built a faceted filter for veg/non-veg, pack size and price. Search returns results in under 60ms.

Razorpay integration — smooth Indian checkout

Razorpay Magic Checkout with one-tap UPI, COD with risk scoring, GST invoice auto-generation, and order tracking via WhatsApp. Average checkout time dropped to 38 seconds.

Mobile optimization — 70% users on mobile

Pre-launch testing on a Redmi 9 over throttled 4G. Lighthouse mobile score 94. Images served as AVIF, all icons inline SVG, no third-party analytics blocking the main thread.

Launch results

Soft-launched on day 12. First week: 47 orders, ₹68,400 revenue, zero checkout failures. 31% repeat-customer rate within the first month — driven by WhatsApp order tracking and a hand-written thank-you in every box.
